The team was founded in 2009 in honour of George Alfred (Paa) Grant, from his grandson Kim Tyrone Grant a former Black stars member and England legionnaire[1].
George Alfred Grant also popularly called PAA Grant, was born at Beyin in Western Nzema, on August 15, 1878.[2]
